Water CTU & Aqua Pure 3M Filters

As a company we would strongly advise against installing an espresso machine without a water filter. There is a direct relationship between water quality and the characteristics of a perfect cup of coffee. Even with the most sophisticated machines, and the very finest ingredients, the quality of coffee & tea can suffer greatly if the water used isn’t just right. When you consider that 98% of a cup of coffee is water you can understand why.

Whilst coffee roasters and machine manufacturers can employ considerable expertise to produce the best coffee, they have no control over the water quality, which varies widely throughout the UK. However, when you use a CTU or water filter, you can completely eliminate this variation. You will also extend the working life of your espresso machine and reduce breakdowns; a CTU unit will pay for itself many times over the years. A lot of coffee machine warranties are void if CTU filters are not installed for new.
